What this is
DFMCAD is a free engineering reference platform — calculators, DFM guides, study material, and downloadable resources. No login. No ads. No data collection.
Every tool on this site exists because I needed it on the job and couldn't find a version online that wasn't buried behind a signup wall, loaded with ads, or wrong.
Who built it
DFMCAD is built and maintained by a working engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience. The content comes from the shop floor and the drawing board — not a textbook.
Why it's free
Engineering reference material shouldn't be locked behind a paywall. The calculators are simple math — the value is in getting the inputs, outputs, and standards right, not in charging for access.
